May 2006: RDA Agenda, Action, Response

It is time for all good Citizens to come to the Aid of their community and insist on a Great Development Plan which is inclusive of the 215 widening way off in the future and the Relocation of Grand Terrace Elementary School in part or whole. Those facts should be in ink prior to any more property is allowed to be built out. Good Planning is Long Range Planning. Good Planning is Done in the Light of Day, In Public. Good Planning is something the Citizens of Grand Terrace should demand.

Good Planning is not a tool to deny individuals their property rights for another individuals gain, or even the financial gain to the city. Let's not forget that lesson.

Contact Cal Trans, CJUSD, SanBag, and the City of GT and insist the road Plan is Done First. Building something just to have it removed makes things cost more than they need to.
