Eminent Domain Propositions on Nov Ballot:

Propositions 98 and 99 are designed to add property rights protection against the actions like KELSO Case.

98 protects your home if you have lived in it for a full year.

99 protects your home and your business.

Protect from who... The City Redevelopment Agency who wants to force you to sell so your property can be resold to a Developer for their private benefit.

Sure there may be a higher economic use of one piece of property, but it has been the founding cause or issue of this blog that no matter the economic "advantage" surrendered, it is NEVER RIGHT TO TREAD on PROPERTY RIGHTS.

Eminent Domain is to be used only for REQUIRED roads and Public Services. These uses require PUBLIC OWNERSHIP of the affected property. IT is not to be sold and private development later down the road.

Nationalization or in this case City Management of Private Assets is called Fascist Economic Structure. Let's not continue down that economic path.
