Grand Terrace Youth and Teen Programs

In today's Sun Telegram there was a Grand Terrace citizen expressing dissatisfaction about the lack of programs for children, specifically youth and teens.

The City's Spokesperson identified the lack of funds as the reason for there being no Parks and Recreation Department. What is Richard Rollings getting paid for? He doesn't open the gate as it was reported by the City Manager. City Maintenance Crew Members have been observed opening the gate, and opening the restrooms. Often the gates are left open all night.

In addition, how could such a poor city afford to purchase a house for it's city manager. There are Governors of States who don't get Free homes. How about all the city council members and the City Manager put their house keys in a jar and pull out two sets, one for teens and one for youth. Oh would that be like a public works project, that would actually justify the use of emanate domain. Perhaps one more house could be used, as a fund raiser to provide monthly rental income to run the programs.

Just some creative problem solving.
