Position Summary:
Inside Sales Internal Gear position is responsible for several aspects of the sales, marketing and finance functions that relate to the effective management and service of PSG’s distributor network. The Inside Sales Internal Gear position requires effective interaction with contacts at all levels of corporate responsibility, including Engineering, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Accounting, and Customer Service, Distributors, End Users, Freight Forwarders, Government Trade Officials, and Banking Officers. The Inside Sales Internal Gear position shares responsibility with RM/RD for constantly improving revenue generation while maintaining a cost conscious attitude to maximize company profits.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1) Interfaces with PSG Distributor Network on a daily basis via phone/e-mail/fax/travel. Performs technical sales support and trouble shooting for distributors and end users in support of Regional Managers (RM) and Regional Directors (RD).
2) Supports RM/RD in all aspects of Market Representation including location, appointment, evaluation, and cancellation of distributors.
3) Monitors distributor awareness of the company literature, promotional products and technical bulletins while reviewing the distributor inventory and product mix to ensure optimum market penetration.
4) Interfaces with Director of Marketing/Customer Satisfaction to successfully plan, implement, manage, and analyze specific, targeted marketing projects.
5) Responds to and generates verbal and written communication with distributors and end users as necessary to facilitate the product training process, while constantly honing rapport-building skills to ensure strong Company/distributor business relationships.
6) Initiates new product concepts via market research and information gathering assignments which help reduce the product idea to product launch timeline.
7) Maintains a focused market perspective by monitoring and staying current on the region’s political, socio-economic and demographic trends so that new business opportunities are seized.
8) “Pinch Hitter” for RM while on vacation and business travel.
9) Understands and implements value selling concepts in day-to-day interface with distributors and end users.
10) Must be knowledgeable of and adhere to the Company’s policies and procedures.
11) Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Ability to maintain rigid travel schedules at times while remaining flexible to company travel requirements. Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred. Development Engineer II
Under moderate supervision, designs, develops, tests, and documents new products and modifications to existing product. Works with teams and committees to resolve design, performance and production problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develops new products as directed by the R&D Committee. Modifies existing products to improve design, performance, assembly, or cost. Investigates research and development of new ideas and presents these ideas to appropriate personnel when successful. • Interfaces with Testing personnel in developing tests to accurately evaluate performance of new product design, existing product modifications, and general investigations. Required Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Education:
B.S. Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Two or more years related on-the-job experience. In addition to the knowledge, skills, and abilities expressed under duties, must have working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software. Must have good writing skills to accurately convey design ideas and wishes. Able to interact with people from a wide number of backgrounds and disciplines.
