Tired Of Lies
At Tuesdays dog and pony show, the Town Center meeting, two citizens asked about Redevelopement Agency funds going into the Town Center Project. They should have asked if any City funds were involved. The Schwab and Douge Jacobson could not put enough emptiest on "No Redevelopment Agency money was going into the project". Fast forward to June 02,05 the San Bernardino Sun article by Steve Wall. I quote the last sentence of the story. "The City or Redevelopment Agency would lease the library from the developer for about $7,000 a month" Schwab said. Sounds like Redevelopment Agency money to me. Will the county pick up any part or all of this? They don't fund the library we have now adequately. Channel 3 is constantly asking for book donations and volunteers. The point is not so much the library and how they used it to force home owners out of their homes, it is the constant lies told to the citizens of this community by those that operate City Hall. Go to city hall and ask to see the OAC market, feasibility study. You will be deined. It has not been presented to the council yet. Well, its been presented to someone there because Schwab and council members have commented on it in several newspaper stories. Its up to us, all of us to do something next November. No incumbents. Its time to have people in office that cater to the needs of the citizens, that will not lie to us when they come out of closed real estate deals and tell us "There was no reportable action taken" when the people they dealt with say there was. We still have not heard what the council did on the Michigan and Commerce property. It also is owned by a Friend of the Council(FOC). Wise up people. The whole of Grand Terrace is a project zone. Watch, the Michigan corridor is going. Will you be next?
