More on the CFBH & GT RDA ...... BAIL OUT

If there is anything the citizens of Grand Terrace care about, its having to pay through the nose to live here. While the present City Council Members vote to take away our rights, they are now forcing us to pay for the lawsuits that a few good citizens have had the courage to take up against their neglect to do the right thing for the people of Grand Terrace.

What we need is a new Council. Lee Ann Garcia is up for re-election. Based on her voting record, she supports these things she does not understand. She supports eminent domain and voted for it five years ago.

Jim Miller, on the other hand has had the self-respect to stand alone against over-spending, eminent domain, and discussing and pushing through projects that just don't make sense. It makes me wonder who is supporting Lee Ann Garcia. Is it Doug Jacobson, who is the major developer who wants to build the town square and used the threat of eminent domain to force people to sell their homes to them? For the sake of our City, I sure hope we get some intelligent people to replace the two seats available and we re-elect Jim Miller.

Jim Miller was also the only one on the Council to say NO to the idea of AES starting up a Power Plant right next to the Proposed High School Site. I don't agree with Jim All the TIME... but he is the Best one of the Bunch... He should be the last one to be replaced.
