Camera's In City Hall

This poster is glad the city is using remote cameras to detect and deter crimes in the parks. It would be great if the activities of the Planning Department, City Manager, and the Redevelopment Agency oh heck all of City Hall and City Business, were also on camera and with sound.

It would also be nice if the city could place cameras at the areas adjacent to the schools to record and ticket the countless drivers disregarding pedestrian right of ways, and of course the pedestrian's who cross on red lights or jay walk could be posted on a page of shame until their fine is paid to the city.

How about a auto speed enforcement, if the car speeds capture the license plate and bill the registered owner for the violation. If three violations go unpaid take the car off the street.

The possibilities are endless.

How about a camera on all areas where alcohol is sold both for on and off site consumption. There is a great potential for the application of this technology. Trained "watchers" or Citizen Watchers could direct the deputies on the ground.
