Today I received an automated call from Bill Postmus campaign as did my neighbors. They call Mr. Williamson the last corrupt politician in San Bernardino County. If that is the case then the present County Board of Supervisors are the first.

I have always voted G.O.P as have my neighbors. We will not do so this Tuesday. In my conversations with the Attorney Generals Office staff in our State capitol, they have to the man, or woman, agreed that San Bernardino County has to be the most corrupt county in California. All you have to do is look at the real estate deals done by this board to benefit their family and friends.

I hope the voters realize that if Mr. Postmus is elected Assessor it completes the ring of corruption. It will mean the ring will control a vast amount of wealth with them as the over site committee.

Ask yourself this. Why would Bill Postmus vacate a seat on the County Board to take a lesser job as Assessor? Because if Mr. Postmus is elected he can reduce property taxes and values and reclassify property the cronies of the Board or their families own or their developer friends have an interest in. He would be able to aid in the condemnation of property.

A good example is the resignation of Mr. Hansburgers wife as Mayor of Loma Linda after the approval of a project for her father-in law over the objections of the voters.

If Mr. Postmus is elected I have no doubt you will see the same type of favoritism and corruption as we witness within our own city. The both have had plenty of practice.

Here is another example. After the Katrina hurricane four members of the Board flew to Gulfport in a private jet. Empire Construction gave $7500 towards the renting of the private jet. Empire is a campaign contributor to members of the board and has profited from those contributions. Here's the rub. Empire owns the company that rented the jet to the supervisors and in violation of State law four members of the Board flew together on it to Gulfport. The law states no two members of a governing body may be together at anyone time unless it is open and the business of the people. The County Attorney assured everyone that the four members of the Board would not talk about any business before the Board. He must think we are stupid.

So here is what my neighbors and I are going to do. You may call it apathy, we call it a protest. We will not vote for Mr. Emmerson because he endorsed a present Council member here that favors the use of Eminent Domain and really has no grasp of the issues even if explained to her.

The issues facing the residents of Grand Terrace go deeper than a book sale from the Dias or dressing up at the Halloween Haunt if that was dressing up. We will not vote for Mr. Postmus for the reasons stated above. We will leave the boxes next to the Candidates name blank and affirm on the ballot that it is a none vote.

SEND A MESSAGE. SEND IT HERE IN OUR LOCAL ELECTION WE ARE TIRED OF NOT BEING HEARD AND SEND IT TO THE COUNTY THAT TO CALL ANYONE CORRUPT IS THE POT CALLING THE KETTLE BLACK. Just remember Mr. Postmus is the head of the G.O.P in San Bernardino County and they have endorsed Council members Ferre and Cortes. Birds of a feather.

Yes it seems the scum that has floated to the top of the government, local, or national needs to be skimmed off and removed from the political pond.

Even the "Other GT related Blog" was offended by the phone call. However, its writer does not connect the dots of endorsements of our local Council Members as being connected to the same type of behavior. Include in the bag of tricks removing signs of their opponents, not showing up for candidates nights, and dare I say it, manipulation of the City Council Agenda to their advantage.

I hope we have all had enough.
