WIND WIND WIND WIND and more WIND

Wind has been a blowing, branches and palm leaves are on the move. Fences are flying and trash cans are being pushed up hill.

The Dust in the air from plowed fields, and construction projects carries particles that aggravate lungs and carry disease. Please be cautious and aware of your families health and safety during the winds and for up to 21 days after the big wind.

IF you must be out in the wind, wear a dust mask, and remember your car's air filter and oil may need to be changed after it is blocked up with dust and grit.

Wind is a part of living in Grand Terrace. Be a good neighbor, put palm leaves in the trash, not the green bin. Please don't quibble about who's palm tree it comes off.

Dogs and pets may be out in the wind... fences may blow down, help each other out and bring dogs in, and list them on the Blog or Craigs list as found.

Heads up, be alert, and safe out there. Projections are the wind assult will be several days. Most damage will have been done by now, but keep alert and help your neighbors where you can.
