Resonding to Ferre's Campaign Statement and a Reply

FROM the Email Inbox:Gramps:

I cannot remember the Barton Road Project ever being approved by the Planning Commission.

Gramp's Reply:

The only Barton Road Project approved was the Savon which was not built to scale to fit the lot it is on, and its artistic representation misrepresented its dimensions. In addition the signage is excessive and not in accordance with the Barton Road Project Plan... and, the Barton Road Project itself is rejected by the State for not having sufficient housing element for all Low Income People other than Seniors. That has never been mitigated. SO unlike the Drug Store... which replaced a former Retail Store the area where the Town Center is planned was Residential Land, and they have not successfully changed the zoning because to do that they have to have the Housing Element Issue Resolved.

They haven't got the cart before the horse, they have the wheels in the barn, the horse running on the range, and the cart still in the box un-assembled. But, Ferre's Campaign, statement is that they have given all the plans careful scrutiny and checked everything before approving the plans. HOG WASH.. Some one needs to get them all drug tested, or at least start serving up the same mushrooms to all the citizens of GT so we are all under the same hallucination.

No wonder Schwab, and Co get away with the stuff they do... No one minding the store has a mind.

Starbucks Building had to conform to the Design Specifications. Darwin's Dental had to jump the hoops. No others have been approved in any major way other than repairs to existing buildings. Natural Development was halted by Excessive Requirements, that are later waived by the Council for favored hand picked developers. Anyone else has to comply to the "Plan of the Week" and pay full fees and costs.
