Mr. Schwab stated that the Senior Housing is not a H.U.D. project. So does that mean that the interest list from the Seniors can become a priority list. That it does not have to be for low to low low income? I am so happy that this has been straightened out and we will all live happy ever after, although I have my doubts about the folks on Brentwood. I guess they can write off the loss of their property value. Ah who cares as long as it's not in Honey Hills. Please click on the link below. Perhaps this will be informative as to the type of Corporation that the Corporation for Better Housing is. By the By they have still not filed their 2005 990's with the Attorney Generals Office.
Here is a link to show that Mr. Schwab is in error that there is no State and Federal Housing Funds in the projects… by the way HUD stands for Federal Agency of Housing and Urban Development…

It is not what is being built, it is where it is being built, the process used to attract the Corporation for Better Housing, the City Debt to add to the funding of the project, the lack of competitive bids, the placing the seniors away from the center of town as in the general plan, and the change of R3 zone land to HIGH VERY HIGH density without doing all the Environmental studies, and contracts out in the open..
Senior Housing, or Low Income Housing is important. HOW, WHERE, WHO, WHEN, and What all are IMPORTANT TOO. THIS DEAL IS BAD BECAUSE SCHWAB RUSHED IT IN HIS TYPICAL ARROGANT WAY HE WANTS IT SO APPROVE IT WAY.
