Stater Brothers & City of GT Insult Free Enterprise

The contract between Stater Brothers Market and the City of Grand Terrace lists as one of the justifications for the contract and gift of $1.2 MILLION Dollars, was that the current location was charging Stater Brothers higher than market rates for their lease.

All most all of the 140 jobs mentioned in the news paper will be gone from Grand Terrace. Most of the people will not be offered jobs in Orange County or be able to afford to move to Orange County or Commute to OC for work.

Will these displaced workers be hired by local businesses? Or will Grand Terrace give each of these individuals a loan to start a business? After all they are going to see harder times than Stater Brothers is having
