From the Email InBox: What is Missing from the AGENDA:

The Firework Sales were to be allowed this year with some provisions in the Code Changed. That included the Obligation by Code that the Supplier pay a specific portion of the "Enhanced Law Enforcement Costs" and the Sellers pay a specific percentage of sales to the City. In addition there was a statement of intent that the Council Expected the Sports Teams to Find Alternative Fund Raising Activities as a Replacement for the Sale of Fireworks, and that the City Staff be assigned to assist in aiding the teams find alternative funds and inclusion in Grand Terrace Days and other City Events.

No such Change in the City Code or Ordinances have been brought to the City Council or Public for First or Second Readings.

We have read of the commitment to the sale of Fireworks from some of the Board Members of the Sports Teams.
