Dear Gramps:
Last Council Meeting there was a Citizen Report on the Problems with the AES Power Plant, and the action the City Council Could take to aid in protecting the Citizens from the results of the pollution the Power Plant would bring to the students and community.
This Issue, is not on the Agenda, so NO Council Action can Take Place. Apparently the City Council's Action is to take No Action by not putting it on the AGENDA?
Perhaps it is time the City Council Members Demand the AES Issues are Put on the AGENDA so they can take an action as a Council. IF not on the AGENDA it would be nice to know what their INDIVIDUAL ACTIONS will be as Council Members. Will they let us know who is willing to put their name on a letter as a Council Person, interested in Protecting the Citizens and the Community from the Pollution that AES will add to our Zone 3 air?
AES will not IMPROVE our Air Quality.
Dear Gramps:
Months ago, Cindy Bidney read a proposed change in the City's Eminent Domain Code/Ordinance. Council Member Miller asked the issue be brought to the council and put on the agenda.
Not yet on the Agenda.
