From the Email INBOX: Not THE AGENDA

Dear Gramps City Council Agenda?

What will Not Be on IT:

Eminent Domain Revision of Ordinance to Protect Private Property Rights against the Taking of Private Property for NON Public Use Private Economic Development Projects. (Requested by Council Member Jim Miller and Many Citizens)

Fireworks Ordinance Revisions Requiring the Seller of the Fireworks to Pay for Law Enforcement as recorded in the Minutes of the Council Meeting where it was Passed. And A Requirement for the Youth Sports Teams to Attempt other Fund Raisers to remove the Need to Sell Dangerous Items and Creating a Fire Hazard in order to raise funds to pay for their activities. Staff Hours and Collaboration with the Sports Teams in finding funding and support equal to the effort spent by Staff on Grand Terrace Days Funds Collections.

AES POWER PLANT PROCLAMATION: It has been delayed because the City Council Seems Incapable of Reading the Documents on the State CEC Web Site, or Digesting the Information Provided by Ms. Roxanne Williams. It appears to this writer they are afraid of offending AES more than interested in Protecting the Citizens Quality of Life and Health.

Status of Law Suits Against the City? Citizens should know how things are going. Citizens should know the logic behind filing an appeal to the BMSV Decision when there is a new EIR and Site Plan Being Distributed for review.

PLAN B by Jacobsen. Jacobsen has promised the City Council that they would be communicating with the public and council and that a Plan B would be just a Month away… from the last time they met…. WELL Perhaps a Plan B
Non Owner Occupied Housing Question Resolution: IF you Home is held in a Family Trust and You live in it, Are you a Non Owner Occupied House? If you are renting to a son, daughter, cousin, grand child, aunt, uncle, or other family member is it a RENTAL? Or Just a way for a family to finance a home for a family member?

GT Going Green? Has the City Council Directed the Planning Department and City Staff to Edit all Ordinances so that there are NO barriers to Solar Power, Wind Power, and other Going Green Options that the Citizens may desire to embrace. INCLUDING Low Water Use Landscape. NEV’s and LEV’s and Speed Reduction on Mt. Vernon and Barton Rd to 35mph Posted Speed Limit.

Accountability for City Assets: The Deposit of Payment from Steve Berry for the Purchase of the Crown Victoria which had been purchased for the use of Tom Schwab has never been documented as being received and deposited into the City’s Funds. Nor was the transaction announced for Public Bidding. NOR has the City Council Issued a Directive that ALL Surplus City Property should be sold at Public Auction to the Highest bidder and City Staff, or Elected Officials are not allowed to purchase City Property.

No EVEN IF there is a City Council Meeting the AGENDA which is controlled by City Manager Tom Schwab will NOT have the above items on it.
