Activities On City Web Page: Air Risk and All

Gramps suggests that all citizens stay home and inside as per the recommendation of the Health Officials. The Air is Hazardous and no unnecessary physical activity should be undertaken without proper air masks to filter out smoke, particles and chemicals in the air/smoke. This condition will persist for at least a week more.

So. It is my humble opinion that the City's Planned Tree Planting, and Dump Day should be postponed until the air is more suitable. I understand that the tree delivery is being made, however 150 trees can be placed in a sand bank and saved for a month without problem.

Risking or adding to the risk of the citizens by having them work outside is a dereliction in the city's duty to look out for our citizens and the Colton High School Football Team.

The City's Web Page shows the following Activities being still planned during this Extremely Bad Air Conditions. No health warnings to the participants are included.

At Least Wearing a Mask is Part of Halloween.... Please Make it a N95 Mask or better and make sure it is sealed around your face.
