Closed Meeting Rules: with Comment

First of all it rubs me the wrong way that the City Council doing Public Business has any meetings that are behind closed doors. That being said, they do have limited rights to hold closed door meetings. HOWEVER, when there is such a meeting they are to report to the Public at the close of the meeting any decisions made or actions authorized at the END of the Meeting.

In the Past the City Council has neglected to abide by this legal requirement. Let it be known that should they fail to report their decision or actions that are a result of a Closed Meeting will be cause for future legal action against them as a Group or as Individuals who Conspire to Violate the State Laws of Open Government.

From the Email InBox:

Neglected? The first paragraph I read on the site says the Council "neglected" to inform the public. Since when has the word lied been replaced with "neglected". Every real estate deal save one, the house that was rehabed for, what was it 80 grand, that used to be the womans shelter, Mayoretta has come out of closed sessions and said "No reportable action was taken". Dodson was a prime examole of her lying.
