25 to 40 People Attended Anti RDA / Norby Meeting

Chris Norby ( Orange County Supervisor), is a very good speaker. He got "Right to the point" Redevelopment Agency Actions Hurt the Local City and Economic Stability of their Communities.

It is going to lead to the same doom that the City of Vallejo has experienced. Yes folks,,, that City with all its wealth potential has declared Bankruptcy because of RDA DEBT and Bad Labor Contracts.

VALLEJO -- A labor agreement aimed at staving off Vallejo's insolvency fell apart Monday, prompting top administrators to recommend the City Council file for bankruptcy protection.
The city faces a $6 million shortfall, and top staff say the general fund will run out of money by the end of March.

(The City of Vallejo has a RDA BOND DEBT of 15,000.000.00... )


We need to stop the GT RDA from Expanding the Debt Load on Our City.
We need to be spending funds in GT for GT not 16.000.00 for a survey that has leading questions.

The next meeting is Wednesday, March 12th at 7 PM at the Life Arts Center, 3485 University Ave. (Downtown Riverside) Parking @ Lemon Street.

Steve Greenhut will speak. He is a columnist for the Orange County Register and wrote Abuse of Power: How the Govt Misuses Eminent Domain.

Perhaps the City Council Would attend a Meeting to get a ballance to their information...
