Assuming the Court finds that the Center for Better Housing and the Redevelopment Agency of Grand Terrace has complied with the prior Court Order/Decision of Judge Wade, and or has mitigated the problems in their plan and design of the Blue Mt. Senior Villas and Senior Center they predict that "Framing Will Be Done in Spring 2008"
The Grand Terrace City News Published a Phone Number for Seniors to put their names on an INTEREST LIST. Remember of the 120 Apartments only 11 will be at market rate. All others will be for Low and Very Low Income Seniors you may not qualify for an apartment and being on the list may not give you a priority of someone with a Section 8 Housing Check from out of town. This could add up to 240 Seniors to our community. Remember we are told they won't all have cars, and there is no regular public transportation to the facility and there is no plan for the "Management or City" to provide transportation.
BUT, If you are interested it may be prudent to put your name on the list.

Which Demonstrates an interesting relationship between businesses and how the Money is skimmed off of the 15 Million RDA DEBT the City is Paying, and the Rents Collected by the Development. Remember the Lease Income to the City is cost is like 10.00 per year... there is no Repayment of the RDA DEBT by the Center for Better Housing.... Tax Payers will be paying that Debt and Interest.
Also remember there is still a court date regarding the construction and design, so the project completion date may continue to slip.
Glad they saved the Walnut tree.... what about the Pomegranate Plants.... they could have been transplanted and their fruit and juice is one of the best for your health.
