Grand Terrace will be holding its annual Country Fair on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Grand Terrace Community Center at the corner of Barton Rd. and Vivienda Ave.
The public is invited to enjoy handmade arts & crafts, home-grown plants and produce, as well as the baking and chili-cooking skills of community members.
There will also be quilting, carved walking-sticks, fiber arts, woodworking, jewelry, handmade soap, digital artwork, and a variety of other items will be available for purchase, just in time for the holidays.
Various community groups will also be on hand including the Lions' Club and the Foundation of Grand Terrace. The Grand Terrace Dog Park Committee will be selling Calendars featuring local children's artwork and will host a silent auction to raise money for the local dog park. The Chamber of Commerce and Boy Scouts will also have booths to provide information and answer questions. The Grand Terrace Senior Center will have a gardening booth and a local artist will provide face painting.
The Friends of the Library used book sale will include many collectible cookbooks, crafting, and childrens books. The Grand Terrace Woman's Club Barbecue will be held on the back patio.
