This is another one of those Show Up or Shut Up Situations where if you don't voice your issue with the proposal you may lose all future right to Court Action. Herman Hilkey is asking for Retirement Payments for his past service on the City Council. Note he left his last elected term of office early. This Payment for Past City Council Members is an area that is seldom disclosed to the public. How much is being spent on an annual basis, and how much has been paid out of City's General Fund over 30 years for the City Council Members "Retirment and Health and Life Insurance" while they are serving and after. This little disclosed fact and cost to the city may be a significant amount when added up over they years.
