Outdoor Adventurer Center Downsized

Apparently the report is in... The Outdoor Adventure Center, Grand Terrace Partners LLC, has been studied as to its feasibility. The new study is out, and revised plans have been submitted. Everyone should go get a report and read it in detail. Don't let the city management get away with slipping in something that will have an adverse affect on the lives of the citizens of Grand Terrace, and the businesses and families in the area being developed.

There are still interesting questions to be answered, such as who are the members of the "preferred" developer Grand Terrace Partners? Are the areas sporting goods stores successful and do they have an excess of business that can be captured by a location enhancement, or extra services? Is this a development that creates new business, or is it one that just relocates businesses already in Grand Terrace, or our neighboring cities? Finally, is this the best use of the property, assuming that the land owners must yield to the whims of the city government. Let us all read the report and ask the big questions, and insist on answers.
