Council to consider traffic recommendations

The City Council on Thursday evening will review recommendations of an ad hoc traffic committee. The committee identified traffic-mitigation strategies such as traffic signals and street improvements the city should consider in the next five years. Major developments are under way or being planned in the area that will significantly increase traffic flow in the city, officials said. Most of the projects are in nearby cities such as Loma Linda, Redlands and Colton and in Riverside County.
