This is usually attended only by Council Members, and City Staff... and former Council Members.... Show up if you can. It is a PUBLIC EVENT, paid for by PUBLIC FUNDS... and Free Cake... Perhaps more importantly it is an opportunity to network.

DEC 14th City Block Grant Hearing at 7:30 P.M.. This is where the Staff Tells the Council how to spend the Block Grant Money. The Council May then set a priority of tasks. Citizens and LOCAL Non profits such as the 4H, Churches, or even Small Businesses providing Public Service could be party to or receive a Block Grant.
