A Review of the BROWN ACT may be appropriate for all the Grand Terrace City Council Members and the public.
The question about the understanding of the Roll of the Council as a Body, A Council Member and Staff .... left out one important group in the governance.... THE PUBLIC...
The Public should be aware of the BROWN ACT and try to assure their leaders are not in violation of it. Perhaps it would be good if the City Attorney would review the relationship between the PUBLIC and the Council Members in regards to the Brown Act and open Agenda Items. There should be a clear understanding when it is appropriate to speak to the council members in a social setting, or in Public, or during a Council Meeting, regarding concerns and ideas for the city.
