Council Priority is Jacobsen/Schwab Priority

We get a clear picture of who the Council and City Management is serving by its list of Goals.

Jacobsen Family Holdings... And the Agency of Terra Loma Realty as 24 Land Deals of the Redevelopment Agency have funneled business their way.

Is it possible that the rush or importance is a direct result of Council Members and the General Manager knowing there is a November Election which may find them unseated and him unemployed? Hmmm I wonder?

Perhaps, we should insist on a Crime Increase Projection Report for the TC. An empty field, or a field of sheep would be better than a Shopping Center designed to attract people from outside the community to come and become a problem in traffic, and pushers, and problems of the criminal nature. The sales tax generated will never equal the cost in law enforcement, and loss of peace in the community. No real "Increase" of law enforcement will take place". We will be lucky if the added tax revenue even comes close to dealing with the "New Problems" that the Town Center Development will bring.

Fix the traffic problem by. ONE: Red Light and Speeding Cameras put in place by a Contractor who makes money off of the tickets. TWO: Reduce the speed limits in town to the minimum possible by law, not the maximum possible, and make roads narrower, and less attractive for the freeway by pass traffic. If they want to come to shop, they will take the time. But, IF they don't come here for a REASON,,, there is no REASON to make GT Citizens put up with pass through traffic.

I could go on... Read the list for your self. Making City Information Available to you readers and citizens is way down the list. Let's hope the list is not the order of accomplishment.
