The Citizens of Grand Terrace will Lose Federal Funding for 2 Years. IF Eminent Domain Powers are used to transfer Private Property (Stringfield) to Jacobson Family Holdings to build the Town Center. Stringfield and others being approached by the Jacobson and Redevelopment Agency have said they are not interested in selling their property. No should mean NO, or is that only in the case of Date Rape?
Law Suits will continue to be filed against the Development Projects Managed by Redevelopment Agency and City Hall.
Highgrove Happenings Virginia Harford will continue to Harp. Who is plucking her strings? Her recent attempt to retract the identification of Bill Hays as being a leader of the group of people which have court actions pending against the City of Grand Terrace, suggests that his speaking his opinion publicly is so persuasive that it compels others into action. There are many people concerned about the process and procedures of the Grand Terrace Redevelopment Agency, and GT City Council, and the City Manager, and the Friends of the Council, such as the owners, associates and employees of Terra Loma Realty. One has to question Ms. Harford's motivations, and sources. Who is plucking her strings so to speak.
Ms. Harford, you own a house in GT. You run a home business from that location. Perhaps it should be sold to some one who could make MORE income for the city than you do? Perhaps, you should be forced to move. Perhaps you should be forced to take the least possible amount for your property. Jo Stringfield's Family Home and property is HER property. If the City or the City redevelopment Agency has interfered with the full enjoyment of that property, she should be paid a premium. Try and find a large piece of property and pay for it in full, with a house and all, in Grand Terrace. That is the value of her house. Extra compensation should be paid if she is forced to sell because she should have a right to stay in and on her family property for intangible reasons. Like the RIGHT TO OWN PROPERTY, THE RIGHT TO BE SECURE IN ONE's HOME, just to mention two.
We will see the Rental Tax and Inspection change over. Increased Code Enforcement Officers.
We will see how the city will respond to the HAM Radio Issue.
We will see the city continue to pander to the seniors, provide for the pre teens, and neglect the 7th to 12th graders in our community.
This blog has been in service for a year. Why, some ask. Well the City could not find a way to report Arrests and Crime Information. The City could not find a way to share city documents on the Web. Many People support this Blog and I the Grandpa of the Blog thank all of you for your contributions.
