From the Email Inbox: The Non-Mayor of Grand Terrace

The way I see this is that Ferre has no legal standing to represent herself as Mayor of the City of Grand Terrace. She has no legal standing to make rules for the Council or the Citizen that come into the podium. She has no legal standing to call herself Mayor nor does Councilwoman Cortes to represent herself as Mayor Pro-Tem. The way I understand it whoever gets to the center chair first on Council meeting nights can sit there, because we legally have no position of Mayor. Not until after the November elections. If we cannot address her as Mayor on legal documents then we can not address her as Mayor or Council Member Cortes as Mayor Pro-Tem in any capacity.

We've been Bamboozled, but not for much longer,
