Colton man arrested for role in fatal freeway crash By Joe NelsonStaff Writer
Tuesday, August 02, 2005 - A Colton man was in the jail ward at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center on Tuesday after he was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and killing two teenage boys in a head-on collision on the freeway.
Charles Gregory Callion, 48, faces charges of second degree murder, gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated, and felony DUI causing death. He had four warrants out for his arrest for failing to appear in court on a DUI offense at the time of the deadly crash, California Highway Patrol Officer David Sandidge said.
Callion uses several aliases to avoid incarceration. When he was admitted to Loma Linda University Medical Center following the crash, he used the name Christopher Cross, Sandidge said.
