Grandpaterrace Says:

Contribute to the Hurricane Relief Fund, on line, by phone, or by check. The Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, or Salvation Army. You pick how you want to contribute, and make it a truly PRIVATE contribution, and not a PUBLIC show or act to get attention. Make your gifts NOBLE. Even think about fostering a family from the Hurricane Area.

If you don't come to the concert paid for by the Corporation for Better Housing, and Press Enterprise, and other sponsors you can still contribute. Come to the Concert and Enjoy the Music, the band is a good band. However, After Running Adds in the Press Enterprise, Notices in the Blue Mt. Outlook, and Announcements during Televised Council Meetings why send out mailed invites? Oh is it because they have the money contributed by a Developer, who wants to buy the favor of the citizens, while they have actions and zone changes pending before the City Council. Perhaps this Charity should be giving its money to the HURRICANE FUND rather than to the GRAND TERRACE PARTY FUND.

Check with your employment, they may have a matching contribution fund which will make your contribution more significant.
