Documents not Provided, Questions Un Answered.

Understanding the Problems of Good Governance:

Documents requests for the Details of the Employment Contract of Tom Schwab. Apparently there was a contract stipulation that provided for an allowance for auto expense. Then there was an apparent change, this change was not offered in a document form. In addition there was no evidence of the sale or disposition of the prior cars provided to the City Manager. Nor was there an answer about an open ended employment contract.

It will be interesting to see if these documents exist.

Were there actual bid announcements in the news papers. What bidding practices were used to make a couple of 24,000.00 car purchases which have taken place at least 2 time apparently for the exclusive use or almost exclusive use of the City Manager. Of course this includes the insurance and registration. This would or should lead the citizen to ask what other Perks are being given to the City Manager without the active oversight of the Council or an informed Public.

How many miles can a City Manager Drive in a Town the size of Grand Terrace?

Apparently, he can't or won't go to a Colton Traffic Planning Meeting to represent the Citizens of Grand Terrace living West of La Cadena, when Steve Berry was busy with our own Traffic Planning Meeting. IS TOM SCHWAB exempt from attending a meeting after hours, is he so detached with the importance of the citizens being represented at that meeting, that he did not himself go, or suggest to a council member, or city planner to attend on the City's Staff's Representation.

LAME.
