From the Email Inbox: "Small Group of People"

Dear Gramps:

Regarding the "Small Group of People the Council Woman Ferry suggests are interested in their own "PRIVATE INTEREST".

If there is a group it's the Petta's, Carlstrom and Schwab and the three women.

Lets review her constructive ideas.

The OAC. Hundreds of thousands or millions if you want to count the favor to Carlstrom on the Dodson house. Petta owned property there. Not marketable or feasible.

The Town Center. In her own words in a newspaper article she said she didn't want big box stores or drive through or trucks on the neighborhood streets. The Town Center which at the joint Planning, Council meeting the chambers were packed, with the majority of those that came to the podium opposed to it, were not a group, THEY ARE THE CITIZENS THAT WERE SAYING THEY DID NOT WANT IT and it fell on deaf or very ignorant ears.

Councilwoman Ferre stated in another newspaper article that she was going to vote with Jacobsen before the plans were ever presented to the Community. She is in favor of eminent domain as long as she can keep her promise from another newspaper article where she said she was going to developer more than her father did.

The Senior Center where again citizens came forward opposed to the creating a zone for the project rather than a project for the zone. Ms. Silverstein claimed that the Senior Housing would be low to moderate income. After the project contracts were signed Ms. Silverstein changed it to low to low low income. That will over qualify most of the Seniors that were led to believe that they were on a priority list.

Every project that Councilwoman Ferre voted to approve, without reading it appears, has been push through the process without abiding by the law. They have all been stopped by citizens, not groups, by lawsuits.

Even recently when two lawyers at a council meeting told Ferre that the law would not allow Essco to build she and Councilwoman Cortes pushed through a vote that resulted in a lawsuit in less than two weeks.

The High Schools, Yes I said schools, because it is two. The regular high school and the not so regular continuation high school that will be located there. At least the people being forced off their property is for a school and not a favor to a developer. Until there is a change at City Hall the three Councilwomen are going to be led by the nose by Schwab, Terra Loma Reality and Gene Carlstrom for the profit of a small group, at the cost of the taxpayer.
