Agenda Agenda who controls the Agenda

Agenda Deadline is meaningless.

Agenda Items are selected by the Mayor, Council consensus and the ability of Staff to prepare the necessary reports. So in effect the control works in reverse.

IF and when the Staff has the materials ready it gets on the Agenda.
IF the Council Member or Mayor has Approved an item.
IF the Council Member or Mayor Directs the Staff to Put it on the Agenda
IF the Citizen Puts a Agenda Item as a Requested Action
IF ....

Now you understand why the same people say the same things over and over again at Council Meetings. The Staff and Council don't put it on the Agenda, action is not demanded by the Council and Your Public Comments are Duly Noted.

IF this was a government for the People, there would be a way a Citizen could PUT something on the Agenda and not become a NAG.... Nuisance, or any of the other descriptors used to identify citizens who attempt to get answers, and details from the City Staff, and City Council, and City in General.
