Zoning and Planning is Meaningless in GT...

What we learned in tonights meeting...

Any Developer can come to the Council with a Plan and ask the city to change a zoning or plan, and IF the neighbors of the project are apeased it may be allowed to be changed.

We also see in the case of OAC, and BMSV that City Selected Developers don't have to make such adjustments to the Neighbors Concerns and Zone Changes and Planning Requirements go out the Door.

No, because the Zone Says so. IF a developer wants to change zoning it should be done independent of a Plan to help SELL the idea... IF the city has a PLAN ALL Developers should be bound by that PLAN, or the PLAN should be changed for all.

Just a thought...
