GTCN and AES

Grand Terrace City News this week included some great writing and layout improvements. This little small town news paper has really changed with the new ownership. Continued improvements will no doubt bring this paper up to a quality which supersedes the coverage provided by the PE and the Sun.

The article on the AES Power Plant in the GTCN was more accurate than either of the larger papers provided their readers. For additional documents to read you may want to check the California Dept of Energy Site:

Interesting statements by the City Planning Department and County sheriff are included in these reports.

It would be nice if the Entertainment Section Featured more of the Family and Local theater and Music Scene. Even report of attending a concert at San Manuel is of little interest to the readership. First of all the event has past so the reader can't Plan to Attend. Second, San Manuel is not exactly where you can take your entire family to attend a concert or play. Sterges theater, Redlands Foot Lighters, Lighthouse theater, Yucaipa Little theater, Redlands Bowl, Concerts at Fairmont Park in Riverside, and Flemming Park in Colton are all activities that would make a local, low cost Family excursion and activity. Featuring the event Prior to the date will promote attendance and support the local arts community.
