Signs Tagged ALREADY...

$72,000 of RDA debt to the Citizens of Grand Terrace. The Council approved $72,000 for electronic signs to be placed at the entrance roads of Grand Terrace. This morning, as I drove to work I couldn’t help but notice the big black graffiti on the face of the sign before it was ever turned on. You would think our Council would have thought of that, or perhaps “Staff”.

Council was told by citizens that it was not a good idea to waste the taxpayer’s money for electronic signs. Lee Ann though it was so wonderful that we could advertise for our Community.

Common Council – WAKE UP – You are not as smart as you think you are.

Note: The signs cost 57,000.00 did the city take 72,000.00 out of the CRA to cover the "Overhead' not covered by the "General Fund"? Was there an accounting trail for this?
