Grand Terrace council to consider extending life of redevelopment agency

The City Council will formally receive a report Tuesday calling for extending the life, and the revenue, of the city-wide redevelopment agency.
The council is being asked to extend the life of the agency by five years, to 2032, and to increase the maximum amount of property tax money it can collect from $70 million to $225 million.
The council meets at 6 p.m. in its chambers at 22795 Barton Road.
