The New City Manager Betsy Adams got one more post Schwab/Berry problem to deal with in a very open and public way. The contract between the City of Grand Terrace, and CBH was negotiated and fudged together by CBH and Schwab/Berry. There is no doubt that there will be contractual problems in the agreements and that the City may need to go to court to protect the City's rights, enforce the CBH Obligations, and to ultimately protect the Seniors living in the Apartments and those using the Senior Center.
Perhaps it is time to investigate if CBH and all its incarnations have done jobs in the homes of Schwab/Berry or any of the Council Members. Who did they make contributions to? Were those funds accounted for properly? Who was responsible for not putting in a Commercial Kitchen?
The Citizens of GT and Tax Payers in general will be paying for this folly. We have a right to know if Schwab/Berry or any other city officials benefited from lax contract negotiations and terms and conditions. It may be time to sever all agreements possible with CBH and their many associated companies.

Welcome to Grand Terrace Betsy Adams. You have quite a challange ahead of you. Get a good lawyer to go over the CBH contracts with a fine tooth comb and get solid on what GT's rights are under those contracts.
