Questions Asked at Council Meeting:

One citizen asked the City Council to allow the Sheriffs Department to disclose the nature of two phone calls emanating from City Hall, to the Sheriff's Department on July 15th, 2009.

What was the nature of the Criminal Activity being reported, or was there a coordination effort being orchestrated to get maximum effect when the council man was arrested?

This blog has been a proponent for the Sheriff Department to make available crime reports or the Arrest Logs and the Service Call Logs within the city. This has multiple purposes for an informed citizen is a good citizen. We need to know what crimes are being reported, so we can be better informed neighborhood watchers. We also should keep track on who is being arrested, and the courts allow us the ability to follow up on the case IF it reaches the COURT. Why is this important. Well in dictatorships, arrests are made and used as a means of intimidation even if the person is later released, the intimidation has taken place.

Given the past evidence of manipulation of the Sheriff's Department the Citizens of Grand Terrace should be able to have the Phone Records for all calls from GT and know the crimes reported and arrests made.

The current City Council and their Mantra of High Real Estate Property is only protected by hiding crime reports and arrests is in part the cause of their Persistent Ignorance and the Limitation of Information to citizens that the Schwab/Berry dictatorship took root and festered in the community so long.
