Support for Council Member Jim Miller:

Many Citizens, some with tears in their eyes and cracks in their voices bemoaned the arrest of Jim Miller on inflated charges of conflict of interest. Not one said you did it you should be found guilty. The fact is Jim Miller himself said he did it.. the question is it a conflict of interest and if so can he undo it by reversing the contract by returning the City's Money.

Many other Citizens spoke directly to the person identified for inflating the issue to a criminal charge and arrest as being Acting City Manager Steve Berry and apparently his supporter Council Member Bea Cortes. Recount that Berry threatened to take such an action. We heard public statement that calls to the Sheriff's Department came from City Hall on the day of Miller's Arrest. Clearly the Investigation did not start in earnest until Steve Berry was feeling he was about to lose the job as City Manager, and even possibly Assistant City Manager as a result of the disclosure of the Embezzlement and Falsification of Public Records Case that was disclosed in April of 2009. Years after the event, the cover up persisted until the SBCS printed the story.

So here you have it... One Council Member Set Up, and attempted Corrosion yet the framers are free as birds to this day. As one speaker said, if Jim Miller is guilty each and every person there in the Council is at risk for the very same charges in some way.

Dictators seldom end their rule without a big mess. Here in Grand Terrace we are learning that the Dictatorship of Schwab, and his Mini Me Dictator Berry have proven to provide a BIG MESS, and no doubt there is more to discover.
