What should be done...

Addressing tonight's comments from the podium regarding Berry at the Council meeting.

The first speaker and Mr. Wilson were dead on. Mr. Berry should be fired. This is not the first time he has placed himself before his duties to the city.

Hartfords comments were just asinine, no surprise there.

McConnell and particularly Candy Bosner need to be answered. "Mr. Berry has done so many nice things for Grand Terrace. Here's a shocker for you. He gets paid $150,000 a year "to do nice things for Grand Terrace". It's his job. If another city offered him $160,000 a year, he'd go do nice things for that city.

"But, But, he's my friend. He goes to the same city functions I do". Morons. He gets paid to go. Everything he does for Grand Terrace is because he gets paid. He also got paid while working for a developer in Loma Linda while he was collecting his salary from Grand Terrace. That's a nice thing?

In the report from the Sheriff's Office and in three newspapers he and Schwab admitted to wrong doing, criminal wrong doing. The timing of Mrs. Ferre friend Candy Bosner comments after everyone else had spoken has to make one wonder what Ferre is doing allowing this.

Even if it is an agenda item. Bosners comments about Schwab's RDA house were correct. So where was she when it was going on or all these years he has had this RDA house. Now for her totally stupid remark about the Millers and the building they own, as if it is any of her business.

The Millers have a letter from the city attorney stating that there is no violation of the law for them to own that building. So Bosner was doing the bidding of Berry, slinging mud and hoping it sticks.

If memory serves Bosner thought she had a buyer for the building and the Millers offered more. Happens in business every day. The Miller building question had been settled a few years ago and in public, unlike what her friend Steve Berry and Tom Schwab tried to conceal.

What a display of absolute ignorance and immaturity. This is not about emotion. This is about right and wrong and consequences. Maybe she'd like to hire Berry as her accountant.

Berry brought this on himself. He thought he was getting something for nothing and he got a broken car window. His greed and selfness brought this all about. No one else in Grand Terrace caused this but Steve Berry, with a large spattering of Schwab stupidity. Schwab is gone with $170,000 of tax payers money. He should have been gone with nothing but a subpoena.

To say it should not be in the news... well that is not how America Works. The News Papers are to keep Government in Check. Here is an example of what NEWS PAPERS and FREEDOM OF THE PRESS is IMPORTANT... yep right here in Grand Terrace.
