The Grand Terrace Fire Rescue Association donated $30,000 to assist in the purchase of a new squad to help haul the lumber trailer for Rescue 23.
All money was raised from the pancake breakfast and Christmas tree sale by the PCF company from 23. PCF Lieutenant Solometo and the call company presented Division Chief Wellman and Battalion Chief Bush with the check.
The community service of the PCF Company Rescue 23 and the community support of the great folks of Grand Terrace show how a community can support fund raising activities from within the community. We like trees and pancakes in Grand Terrace, and PCF Company Rescue 23 are a terrific bunch too.
