Grand Terrace Days Slush Fund

Who is accounting for the Grand Terrace Days Committee?

Council Member Jim Miller has asked for an accounting for the City Employee's Time and Effort provided to the Event, and others have asked for an accounting of the Revenue and Expense of the Committee. When will such reports be made public?

Is there any relationship to Developers "Contributions" to the Grand Terrace Days Committee, and favorable outcome of their requests? Perhaps no developer or business person having before the council or planning commission any decision should be allowed to make any contribution to any City committee, or City Politician for a period of 1 year before the issue and 5 years after the issue being determined. Oh this may be forced ethics,,, but it appears there needs to be such force applied in Grand Terrace.

Something is past ripe here.

Comments:
$5,000.00 here, and a little money there and "Well, I am just here to help you with your plan." Right?!
