Speak on Senior Housing or Lose Your chance

The Notice Sent to Some Citizens has been sent to me via Email.. Sorry about the quality of the scan. However, note the date of the meeting, and the last paragraph. If you don't speak at the planning meeting, you will not have recourse in the courts if it raises to that level of action.

Issues with the proposed development include:

Plan does not designate replacement Park and Recreation Facilities being lost.

Plan does not meet the RDA requirements of Providing Low and Moderate Housing for ALL Citizen Classes. Being Restricted to Seniors Only.

Plan of 3 story construction is an intrusion on the property values and privacy and environmental quality of neighbors on Brentwood.

Plan does not address lack of transportation service availability to the site. Barton Road at least has bus service from RTA #25 hourly.

Plan does not address the financial ethics of the proposal and long term relationship sufficiently.

Who owns or did own this land before the city got it. What did they pay?

This land was donated to the city by Mr. and Mrs. Petta with the intended use to be a park in the name of Susan Petta their daughter who died as a young woman.
