I just read the City Rental Code Enforcement Plan.
It is worse than any housing association rules.
What is the City trying to do?
Have everyone under police power?
Micro-manage everyone?

It is so sad what they are doing.

Comment 2:
This bill ( The Private Property Protection Bill) does nothing to address the taking of ones home or property by the use of Code Enforcement that turn into tax liens. This is what needs to be taken on also. The code officer finds violations, cites you with repair bills that will take a second mortgage to repair, they keep using the code violation to say you haven't made proper up to code repairs, do a code tax lien and tie you up till the time expires and take your house for the tax lien without the use of E.D. You can't pay your property taxes as long as there is a code lien on it. Politicians used this on people in the high desert. They lost their property to Politicians family members. IF YOU CAN"T OR ARN'T ALLOWED TO PAY YOUR PROPERTY TAXES AND LOOSE ALL APPEALS, WHICH IN THIS COUNTY IS NOT UNCOMMON, WHO DO YOU THINK GETS YOUR HOUSE, THE CITY MAYBE, OH YEAH. Why do you think Rialto has seven code enforcement officers.
